OB/GYN Hospitalist – Central New Jersey (NYC Metro Area)
Opportunity Highlights
- Full-time OB/GYN hospitalist role with inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
- 24-hour in-house hospitalist shifts with occasional daytime clinic coverage
- Provide ED coverage, deliveries, inpatient GYN consults, and gynecologic care
- Outpatient prenatal and postpartum patients transitioned to hospitalist team for inpatient care
- Collaborative environment supporting nurse midwives and Family Medicine residents
- Teaching and mentoring opportunities with residents and medical students
- Flexible scheduling with strong work-life balance
- No clinical responsibilities when off
- Estimated compensation: $276,480 – $368,640 annually
- Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage
- CME and professional development support
- Access to educational resources and leadership tools
- Long-term stability within a nationally recognized healthcare organization
- Board Certified OB/GYN
- Active New Jersey medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong full-scope OB/GYN clinical skills
- Comfortable teaching residents and collaborating with midwives
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Established community hospital with advanced surgical, maternity, cardiac, and specialty services
- Recognized for excellence in maternity and patient safety initiatives
- Located in Central New Jersey with convenient access to NYC and Staten Island
