• Provide high-quality bilingual instruction in English and Spanish for Kindergarten and 1st Grade students.
• Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state standards and dual-language program goals.
• Foster early literacy in both languages through structured instruction, small-group learning, and targeted interventions.
• Create a warm, inclusive classroom that supports the social-emotional and academic development of young learners.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including English learners and advanced learners.
• Communicate regularly with families in both English and Spanish.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, bilingual staff, and school leadership to plan curriculum and support student growth.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school-wide initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the school leadership team.

• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate
• Bilingual/Bicultural Endorsement issued by the New Jersey Department of Education (Required)
• Fluency in English and Spanish, including reading, writing, and speaking
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)
• Prior teaching experience in early elementary or bilingual education preferred
• Strong understanding of child development, early literacy strategies, and culturally responsive teaching
• Effective classroom management and excellent communication skills
