Tutors work with students to help them meet their full potential by supporting what they are working on in the classroom and guiding them toward study practices and strategies for them to excel as independent learners.
Principal Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of 12 or more college credits
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
- A 3.0 (grade of
B) or better in courses they wish to tutor
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Supplemental Information:
* Tutor hourly rates are based on degree level. If a candidate who is a student without a degree is selected for the next stage after an interview, said candidate must also provide a recommendation form from a Professor.
We are currently looking to fill four positions:
- Two (2) STEM Tutors for a range of courses
- One (1) Writing Center Tutor
- One (1) Computer Science Tutor
- One (1) Business/Accounting tutor
