About This Role

The Dean of School Nursing & Allied Health is responsible for the administration of the Schools of Nursing, Medical Imaging, and Therapeutic Sciences, ensuring alignment with the curriculum's philosophy and objectives while guiding faculty and students.

• Location: Edison, NJ
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Approve the definition of responsibilities and authority for all personnel in each School.
• Coordinate the activities of each School with other Medical Center departments.
• Interview prospective faculty and staff members.
• Participate in orientation of new faculty and staff members.
• Appoint faculty members to Medical Center and College Committees.
• Chair the Faculty Organization Committee.
• Analyze and evaluate the implementation of the curriculum of each School.
• Provide guidance for faculty in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the curriculum.
• Prepare and administer the annual budget for each School.
• Adhere to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

• Education: Doctoral degree or Master's degree in an appropriate discipline and currently pursuing Doctoral education.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of ten (10) years professional experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years teaching experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years management experience.

  NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
