Guidance Counselor

Full‑Time Guidance Counselor
Location: Burlington County Institute of Technology - Westampton Campus

Burlington County Institute of Technology is seeking a qualified and student‑centered Guidance Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NJDOE Educational Services Certificate with a School Counselor Endorsement (2702) and demonstrate the ability to effectively support students' academic, career, and social‑emotional development within a secondary school setting.

• Valid NJDOE Educational Services Certificate with School Counselor Endorsement (2702) (required)
• Prior guidance counseling experience preferred
• Knowledge of computerized master schedule development (desirable)
• Broad knowledge of:
  • Testing and evaluation practices
  • Individual and group guidance theories and techniques
  • Secondary school guidance program design
  • Career education, exploration, and placement
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with students, parents, staff, and community organizations

Salary Range: $65,737 – $81,313
