Substitute​/Interim Principal

• Minimum five (5) years of successful school administrative experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and administrators
• Knowledge of school safety, student discipline, and emergency procedures
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills
• Criminal history background check required
• Retired school administrators are encouraged to apply

Superintendent of Schools or Designee

To provide temporary administrative leadership and supervision in the absence of a building principal or other school administrator and to ensure the safe, orderly, and effective operation of the school.

• Provides administrative coverage as assigned
• Oversees daily school operations and established procedures
• Supervises students and staff and maintains a safe, orderly environment
• Addresses student discipline and other school-related concerns
• Communicates with parents, staff, and District administrators as needed
• Oversees arrival, dismissal, safety drills, and emergency procedures
• Implements District policies, regulations, and administrative directives
• Reports significant incidents or concerns to the appropriate administrator
• Performs other administrative duties as assigned

Temporary, as-needed position. Per Diem pay as per negotiated agreement.

The Freehold Borough Public Schools is a Pre-K-8 District in Monmouth County, New Jersey, with a diverse student population of approximately 1,450 students. The District is comprised of two elementary schools and one middle school. Eighth-grade students attend the Freehold Regional High School District.
