Description
Eastern Metal Framing seeks a motivated, dynamic professional to work as our Technical Services Engineer.
Responsibilities- Provide size and gauge and engineering solutions to customers.
- Coordinate engineering services including maintaining relationships with engineering firms, quoting engineering, tracking engineering sales and ensuring jobs are billed.
- Spearhead company activity in CFSEI.
- Participate in trade shows.
- Coordinate product testing for sound, fire, limiting heights, etc.
- Verify technical data, including structural properties, load tables and limiting heights for all products.
- Verify compliance with current building codes.
- Participate in product development.
- Strong understanding of company products, specifications and building practices.
- Comprehensive understanding of competitive products.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and a PE License.
- Engineering experience with cold formed steel.
- Knowledge of building codes, standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Extraordinary customer service skills.
