We are seeking a Field Calibration Technician to join our expanding team supporting customers across a variety of industries. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in instrumentation, electronics, electrical technology, or test and measurement equipment who wants to build a rewarding career in a growing technical environment.
Working both on-site at customer locations and within our Edison laboratory, you will calibrate and adjust a wide range of test and measurement equipment while delivering exceptional service to our clients.
What You'll Be DoingAs a Field Calibration Technician, you will:
- Perform calibration and adjustment of a wide range of test and measurement equipment
- Conduct on-site calibration services at customer facilities
- Work across multiple calibration disciplines including electrical, pressure, flow, dimensional, temperature, and humidity
- Research equipment specifications and technical requirements when needed
- Produce accurate calibration reports and certificates
- Ensure customer requirements are met and exceeded
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of company standards and calibration equipment
- Record calibration data accurately and update internal systems
- Support continuous improvement of testing methods and calibration capabilities
- Maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and turnaround times
- Contribute to a safe, organized, and professional working environment
We're interested in candidates who combine technical expertise with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Diploma in Electrical Technology, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- Experience with in the instrumentation, electrical, electronics, or test and measurement industry
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to manage priorities and work independently
- A positive, proactive mindset and willingness to learn
- Knowledge of quality systems and industry standards
- Experience working directly with customers in a field service environment
