The LiRo Group seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical systems design for complex transportation, infrastructure, and building projects. You will develop HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection designs, calculations, and specifications, coordinate closely with multidisciplinary design and construction teams, and support field inspections and issue resolution during construction. In LiRo's collaborative, growth-focused culture, you'll mentor junior staff, drive technical quality and innovation, and help deliver high-impact public and private sector projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design for building and infrastructure projects (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
- Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications compliant with codes and standards.
- Coordinate with architecture, structural, electrical, and construction teams.
- Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings; provide technical guidance.
- Conduct site visits, surveys, and field inspections to resolve design and construction issues.
- Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling for mechanical scope.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development.
- Ensure quality control, risk mitigation, and adherence to client requirements.
