Responsibilities- Understand clients’ needs, expectations, business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values, and industry-related accounting and financial reporting topics.
- Develop an understanding of the RSM audit approach and tools.
- Assess risks and evaluate the client’s internal control structure.
- Perform substantive tests and tests of internal controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues.
- Draft financial statements under prescribed formats.
- Minimum B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university by the time employment commences.
- Accounting major.
- Travel to assigned client locations is required; ability to arrange reliable transportation for up to 25% of the time.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Motivation to work in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment.
- Client‑focused attitude.
- Multitasking ability.
RSM offers a competitive benefits and compensation package, including flexibility to balance life’s demands and client service responsibilities.
Compensation Range: $70,400 - $84,000
