Job role and purpose

We’re looking for a proactive, commercially minded Finance Business Partner to support our Lifecycle Services business line. In this role you will work closely with business leaders, providing financial insight, analysis and guidance to support decision‑making and drive sustainable business performance. Our Lifecycle Services focus on IT asset disposal for workplace IT and data center equipment, including project management, logistics, secure collection, processing, data removal, global trading, recycling, and reporting of retired IT assets.

As a Finance Business Partner you will sit at the intersection of Finance and Business, turning financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights. Through forward‑looking analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting you help steer the business toward its strategic objectives and ensure resources are allocated effectively, risks are managed, and opportunities are maximized.

You will also own key finance governance and reporting foundations for a global, multi‑entity, multi‑currency business line, ensuring high‑quality data, strong financial control, and transparency across functions.

Main responsibilities & tasks
  • Partner with the Lifecycle Services management team to provide financial insights that influence strategic and operational decisions.
  • Drive Business Line profitability and support long‑term planning and financial modelling.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, enhancing efficiency, profitability, and value creation.
  • Lead business line budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, streamlining processes with finance and country teams.
  • Align financial targets with business unit and country goals, including headcount planning.
  • Own the Business Line P&L and deliver clear performance analysis and timely financial reporting.
  • Build financial models, business cases, and ROI analyses to support investments and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain structured reporting (P&Ls, commissions, margin and revenue reports) and develop KPIs and dashboards.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, cost savings, and revenue‑enhancing actions, providing proactive recommendations.
  • Ensure strong financial controls while enabling commercial flexibility.
  • Prepare accurate KPI and data inputs for Board reporting and lead bottom‑up P&L reviews.
  • Identify and drive process improvements across finance and operations.
  • Support new commercial offerings and define related finance processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and transfer pricing requirements.
  • Assess financial risks related to the business line.
  • Foster cross‑functional collaboration and support change and transformation initiatives.
Qualifications and experience
  • Relevant degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
  • Multiple years of experience in finance business partnering or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in an international matrix organization, with cross‑regional collaboration beyond the U.S., particularly within EMEA.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with solid understanding and experience of finance processes in a multi‑national environment.
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders in an international environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
  • Commercially minded, with strong business acumen and strategic mindset.
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies, drive change and continuous improvement.
