The Publicly Offered Funds team oversees compliance for a range of SEC registered funds, including open-end, exchange-listed closed-end, tender-option, and interval funds as well as business development companies, all which pursue a variety of alternative investment strategies. We are seeking an Assistant Vice President to support various compliance-related functions these and future funds. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment but is also comfortable working independently on detail-oriented tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

Key skills include regulatory interpretation, compliance testing, drafting policies. Coordinate with internal and external teams to manage ongoing due diligence questionnaires. Assist in the annual review of compliance programs for funds. Assist with regulatory filings for the funds. Review compliance policies and procedures for sub-advisers, service providers, and funds. Help monitor and analyze industry and regulatory developments.

Qualifications:

Strong organizational, attention to detail and issue-spotting skills 5+ years of related experience working in a compliance role or paralegal role. A strong interest in long-term career growth within the organization (5+ years). Familiarity with the Investment Company Act of 1940, Investment Advisers Act and FINRA Rules Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Think critically and come up with solutions to solve challenges Proactive in new situations and independently manages projects to conclusion.
