Job Description
Responsible for working with nutritionists to improve patient well‑being by providing dietary support. Provides nutritional care and follows up with patients. Communicates patient’s nutritional information appropriately to other health professionals.
Principal Accountabilities- Coordinates patient’s meal plans with healthcare professionals and nutritionists.
- Takes patient meal orders via phone and at the bedside.
- Assists with meal selections while taking into consideration cultural and/or religious preferences.
- Monitors patient meal tickets—reviewing and modifying as needed to comply with prescribed diet order.
- Processes new diets, changes, tube feedings and NPO orders efficiently while keeping accurate records.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0–3 years of prior experience.
- Prior experience in a call center or other healthcare setting.
- Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Coverage (22.5 hours per week or above for full‑time and part‑time team members)
