Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
Looking for a Physical Therapist job in Edison, NJ with a consistent weekday schedule? We are recruiting an experienced PT to join an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy office serving patients with a range of injuries, post-surgical needs, mobility limitations, and musculoskeletal conditions.
This is a hands-on clinical role where you will assess each patient's current function, identify treatment priorities, and guide them through a structured rehabilitation plan. You'll typically see 1–2 patients per hour
, allowing time for focused treatment and progress monitoring.
- Perform physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments
- Identify mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, and movement limitations
- Establish measurable short- and long-term rehabilitation goals
- Create and carry out individualized outpatient treatment programs
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities
- Reassess progress and update treatment approaches as clinically appropriate
- Provide patients with clear home exercise and self-management instructions
- Maintain complete patient records and treatment documentation
- Active NJ Physical Therapist license
- DPT or MSPT degree from an accredited physical therapy program
- Outpatient PT experience
- Experience working with orthopedic or musculoskeletal rehabilitation cases
- Strong clinical decision-making and patient communication skills
Annual compensation ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 depending on experience
