- Minimum daily study load: 7–8 studies; patient populations include IP, OP, ICU
- Perform ultrasound examinations, with emphasis on adult echocardiography in the echo lab; ensure high-quality images for interpretation
- Obtain, analyze, and document ultrasound findings; operate ultrasound equipment and adjust protocols as needed
- Manage patient positioning, safety, and infection control; adhere to established protocols and privacy standards
- Input and archive images and reports in EPIC EMR; communicate results to referring clinicians in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cardiology and radiology teams; participate in patient care across IP, OP, and ICU settings
- May float to an outpatient facility; some on-call coverage may be required
- Certification: ARDCS (ARDMS or CCI) in echocardiography or equivalent
- BLS from American Heart Association
- EKG recognition required
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Ability to work in an adult echo lab and adapt to a potential outpatient facility environment
- Reliable transportation required; public transit is not accessible in the area
- Existing licensure/credentialing as applicable to ultrasound practice
