Role: An experienced Mammography Technician responsible for performing specialized breast examinations to assist in diagnosing and treating breast diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct diagnostic mammography procedures adhering to established protocols and quality standards.
- Operate mammography equipment safely and accurately.
- Position patients comfortably to obtain high-quality images.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff for accurate diagnosis.
- Maintain imaging records and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Follow radiation safety and infection control practices.
- Current ARRT Mammography (M) certification.
- State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology for New Jersey.
- BLS certification.
- Preferred: at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience, including mammography.
- Proficiency in digital mammography systems.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or within a team.
