Role Overview :

As a Caregiver / HHA at Assisting Hands Home Care of Edison, you will be responsible for providing compassionate in-home care to our clients during various shifts. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our caregiving team to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients. Working on-site, you’ll have the opportunity to create meaningful connections while supporting individuals in maintaining their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and mobility support.

Administer medications and manage health care routines as prescribed.

Assist clients with meal preparation and nutritional support.

Engage clients in social activities and companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.

Collaborate with the caregiving team to ensure safety and comfort for all clients while respecting their dignity.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

Valid NJ Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification

Compassionate and patient demeanor with a strong desire to help others.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in English.

Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in personal care and assistance tasks.

Bonus If You:

Have experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.

Possess additional certifications in first aid or CPR.

Are bilingual, which can enhance communication with diverse clients.

Employment Type

& Availability:

This position offers both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities, with availability required across various days of the week, including weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site in Middlesex, Somerset, Union counties in New Jersey.
