Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) work collaboratively to deliver life-changing applied behavior analytic (ABA) services for pediatric patients navigating acute developmental disabilities, pediatric feeding disorders, or complex behavioral diagnoses across RWJBarnabas Health
. Operating as an integral leader within our specialized care teams, this supervisor provides direct clinical guidance over the development and implementation of advanced assessment and treatment protocols. As a BCBA Clinical Supervisor, a typical day might include the following:

• Conducting vital initial and ongoing training for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Pre-Doc Interns on the unit.
• Providing direct clinical supervision over the creation and deployment of individual assessment and behavioral treatment protocols.
• Supporting daily administration needs including managing staff schedules, patient templates, and key human resources tasks.
• Assisting care teams directly with complex pediatric patient assessments and active behavioral treatments.
• Implementing, monitoring, and recording ongoing research activities in accordance with clinical faculty guidelines.
• Ensuring the unit is in strict compliance with all applicable healthcare policies, laws, and organizational regulations.

• You are passionate about creating and delivering a differentiated, highly empathetic healthcare experience for pediatric populations.
• You set a high bar for yourself and others to maintain a safe, welcoming, and deeply therapeutic environment for your patients.
• You possess proven resilience and maintain a calm, structured, and positive demeanor when working through challenging clinical behaviors, including aggression, property destruction, or feeding issues.
• You are a clear, timely communicator who values team mentorship and believes true healing is optimized through continuous de-escalation and supportive interaction.
• You possess the physical stamina and manual dexterity required to move, lift, or independently carry pediatric patients up to 50 pounds when necessary.

• Must hold a completed Master’s degree within three (3) months of your start date.
• Must possess an active certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) within six (6) months of hire.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Preference is given to individuals with prior experience supervising clinical work with children with feeding disorders, autism, or related neurodevelopmental disorders in an instructional or therapeutic setting.
