Overview

The Senior Test Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products by designing, executing, and optimizing comprehensive testing strategies. This position involves mentoring junior team members, advocating for best practices throughout the development lifecycle, and contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes. The Senior Test Specialist is essential in fostering a culture of quality and collaboration within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design And Implement Detailed Test Plans For Complex Software Features And Modules Utilizing Functional Testing Methodologies To Ensure Thorough Coverage And Quality Assurance.
  • Utilize Automation Tools Such As Selenium And Testng To Enhance Test Efficiency And Effectiveness, While Proactively Advocating For Timely Defect Resolution And The Implementation Of Quality Assurance Best Practices Across The Team.
  • Identify, Reproduce, And Document Software Defects Using Tools Like Jira, Following Established Procedures To Ensure Accurate Reporting And Tracking.
  • Collaborate With Developers To Analyze, Prioritize, And Verify Defect Resolutions, While Actively Participating In Test Reviews To Drive Continuous Improvement And Share Best Practices Within The Organization.
  • Stay Informed Of The Latest Testing Technology Trends And Contribute To The Creation And Maintenance Of Test Automation Frameworks And Libraries, Implementing Innovative Testing Approaches To Address Evolving Software Complexities.
    • Skill Requirements
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Functional Testing Methodologies And Best Practices.
  • Proficient In Automation Tools Such As Selenium, Junit, Or Testng.
  • Strong Understanding Of Defect Tracking And Management Tools Like Jira.
