SAP Technical Architect Program Director

TCS is looking to hire a Program Director for the Enterprise Solutions Unit Consulting practice. The role will be responsible for the planning, execution, and management of complex and large transformation engagements at TCS clients. Their duties include coordinating work between TCS and client team members across multiple projects, ensuring successful delivery of all phases, releases, and project components, and maintaining overall quality, engagement, and adherence to schedule and budget.

• Demonstrate end‑to‑end business process knowledge in SAP processes
• Establish solution architecture to drive Next Gen releases
• Create framework for adopting a clean core using extensibility and low‑code/no‑code principles
• Coach leads and team members to deliver the Next Gen program
• Identify and derive integrated solution architecture
• Develop solutions architecture and evaluate alternatives for implementing Next Gen release solutions
• Coordinate project timelines with teams to ensure checkpoints and goals are met to the client’s satisfaction
• Collaborate with project team members on overall resource allocation and capacity planning
• Manage program‑level status, metrics, issues, and risks, and oversee completion and sign‑off on program deliverables
• Provide leadership and guidance to project team and client leadership assigned to the program
• Lead and collaborate in scoping prospective engagements and developing proposals

• Experience managing large SAP S4 HANA transformation projects as an Enterprise Solution Architect with BTP adaptation as a core objective
• Utilize SAP BTP services to develop and integrate applications, including SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, and SAP Analytics Cloud, with SAP S/4

• Implement data integration solutions and data transformations using SAP BTP services to ensure accurate and efficient data flow between systems
• Strong experience in solution design across multiple functional areas and integration experience with SAP cloud solutions and non‑SAP application landscapes using BTP as the platform
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all ABAP developments and BTP integrations, including design documents, user guides, and system specifications
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, SAP Brownfield and Bluefield conversion processes and migrations
• Use of tools and concepts for custom code remediation and migration
• Stay abreast of emerging SAP technologies and BTP advancements to recommend and implement improvements and innovations
• Proficiency in ABAP programming models including CAP and RAP with advanced concepts and best practices
• Experience with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 development
• Strong stakeholder management experience for a global program
• Customer expectation management and proactive issue resolution with implementation teams
• Experience in overall team management with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong business process knowledge on manufacturing processes and related integration scenarios
• Cross‑functional leadership working with SAP functional consultants across skill sets to design end‑to‑end processes and integrate with SAP S/4
  
  HANA via BTP
• Co‑ordination with business during design, configuration, unit testing, user acceptance testing, cutover, go‑live, and post‑go‑live activities
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements and guide business counterparts toward the right SAP solution
• Experience leading sales opportunities and preparing business cases
• Hands‑on leadership of an integration team with clean core principles
• Ability to work with C‑levels and remain hands‑on as required
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities, capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships
• At least five full life‑cycle implementations as an architect with multi‑module implementations (Finance, Sales, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse)
• A minimum of ten years prior transformational ERP consulting or equivalent industry experience
• At least six years of experience in proposal and business case development
• Ability to articulate the businesses enabled by SAP S/4
  
  HANA and the BTP framework
• Mentor junior team members when needed
• Leverage and build assets/accelerators and provide thought leadership
• Experience managing 20+ resources
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent). Travel up to 100%

Salary Range: $218,600 - $287,000 a year
