The AWS Redshift Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and managing enterprise-scale cloud data warehouse solutions on Amazon Redshift. The role involves leading architecture discussions, driving data modernization initiatives, ensuring platform performance and scalability, mentoring technical teams, and collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality analytics and reporting solutions.
Responsibilities- Lead the design and implementation of scalable enterprise data warehouse solutions using Amazon Web Services Redshift.
- Define overall data architecture, dimensional models, and data integration strategies.
- Design optimized Redshift schemas including:
Star schema, Snowflake schema, Data marts, Fact and dimension tables - Establish data partitioning, distribution keys, and sort key strategies for high-performance querying.
- Evaluate and recommend best practices for cloud-native data warehousing and analytics platforms.
- Design solutions for structured, semi-structured, and large-volume datasets.
- Support cloud migration initiatives from on-premise data warehouses to AWS Redshift.
- 14+ years in Data Warehousing and Data Engineering
- 5+ years of hands‑on AWS Redshift experience
- Experience leading enterprise cloud migration initiatives
- Strong experience in performance tuning and optimization
- Experience working in Agile delivery models
- Exposure to Insurance, Banking, Healthcare, or Retail domains preferred
