Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Soni's client is seeking a Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and oversight of enterprise cybersecurity architecture and security operations across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments. This role focuses on strengthening organizational security posture through modern security frameworks, threat prevention, identity and access management, incident response, and security automation initiatives.

• Design and implement enterprise security architecture and Zero Trust strategies
• Manage cloud security controls across Azure and GCP
• Support IAM, MFA, PAM, and Active Directory security best practices
• Lead incident response, threat analysis, vulnerability management, and security investigations
• Implement and optimize security technologies including EDR, ITDR, firewalls, email security gateways, and data protection controls
• Partner with IT and Dev Ops teams to integrate security automation and Dev Sec Ops  practices
• Develop security policies, standards, and operational playbooks
• Ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and SOC 2

• 7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, cloud security, and security operations.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Zscaler, Crowd Strike, Microsoft Defender, Proofpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, Okta, and Azure/GCP security solutions
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, threat intelligence, scripting (Python/Power Shell/Terraform), and cloud/network security
• Experience with penetration testing, risk assessments, and security governance
• CISSP required; CISM or CCSP preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred

$160,000 to $170,000 annually
