Applications Engineer

Description

The Applications Engineer in the Security Industry works with customers and internal teams to implement, customize, and troubleshoot security solutions. They are responsible for bridging the gap between the technical side of security systems and customer needs, ensuring products are optimized for real-world applications.

• Work directly with customers to understand their security system requirements.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during system installation and integration.
• Customize security solutions to meet specific customer needs.
• Provide pre-sales support by demonstrating product capabilities and conducting presentations.
• Write technical documentation and manuals for security systems.
• Collaborate with the product development team to improve product offerings based on customer feedback.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• In-depth knowledge of security systems, such as surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection.
• Proficient in relevant software tools for security system configuration.

• Knowledge of industry standards and certifications for security systems.

The base salary range for this role is $78,300 - $126,500. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
