Senior Data Analyst

About the Role

Technical Data Analyst ( Must have Insurance /Reinsurance experience) Everest Insurance Company Warren NJ - 3 days office 72-77/hr

• 5-7 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role in the P&C insurance industry
• Solid knowledge of the P&C insurance domain particularly policy & claims management systems
• Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, etc.).
• Strong with complex SQL queries
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Candidate should be able to gather requirements from business stakeholders.
• Analyze existing data within the application and data systems.
• Identify data source and target. Strong in Source to Target mapping
• Determine the necessary mapping and transformation needed.
• Document/explain these requirements to IT delivery team to implement such transformation process in Lumina Data Platform
• Interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing actionable insights
• Provide decision-support through ad-hoc analysis, data profiling etc.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness and integrity of the data in the source systems

Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance, Insurance. Preferred:
