The position is located in Burlington, Massachusetts, USA.

Why

this role is important to us

The Platform team plays a crucial role in enabling development teams to build using consistent technologies and underlying infrastructure, supporting operations teams to run the application environments, and transitioning to cloud native approaches. This role, part of the Platform Product Management team, is crucial to our mission.

What you will be responsible for

  • Work with product management colleagues to ensure delivery of solutions.
  • Develop and manage cross‑functional processes and project timelines related to the product.
  • Manage cross‑functionally with engineering groups, QA, support teams, and Cloud operations for smooth deployment and customer adoption.
  • Summarize and present to a wider internal and external audience for reviews and decision‑making on key product concerns.
  • Review stakeholders’ work, such as QA and documentation, on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage delivery, documentation, and training for relevant parties on your product and components.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent, and/or other work experience in a technical setting.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong hands‑on technical aptitude, with the ability to work directly with engineering teams as a product owner.
  • Exceptional communication and cross‑functional leadership, collaborating with engineering, QA, support, cloud operations, clients, partners, and vendors.
  • Experience building and managing cloud native technologies or building products based on cloud native technologies.
  • Strong contributor with high motivation, initiative, and the ability to set priorities and perform tasks with minimal guidance.
  • Experience in Financial Services, particularly investment management workflows, is preferred.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with automation, Dev Ops, CI/CD, and IaC tools (Terraform, Jenkins, Git, Ansible).
  • Fluency with REST/OpenAPI, events/streams (e.g., Kafka), data contracts, and backward‑compatible change management across internal and client‑facing integrations.
  • SQL for ad‑hoc validation and debugging data flows; ability to define telemetry, KPIs, and instrumentation for operational excellence and business reporting.
  • Experience instrumenting services and building actionable dashboards and alerts (e.g., Dynatrace DQL, logs, metrics, traces) to enable proactive detection and incident triage.
  • RBAC, audit trails, SDLC controls, secrets management (Vault/KMS), and collaboration with risk and compliance on change, access, and data‑handling standards.
Key Attributes
