Data Architect

Job Responsibilities

• Physical and logical phases of database architecture design.
• DBA activities: prepare technical design documents and perform data modeling for application requirements and enhancements.
• Analyze and validate database models.
• Coordinate with the front‑end team to provide database objects.
• Engage in performance tuning of applications in both proactive and reactive approaches.
• Validate and process technical code in test environments and deploy to production.
• Write sub‑queries and correlated sub‑queries, and join tables for data retrieval.
• Load data from flat files to database tables using SQL
  * Loader and product tools.
• Use Oracle databases; develop SQL and PL/SQL scripts.

Education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, or related field, with 5‒8 years of experience in database architecture or related roles. A suitable combination of education, a Master’s degree plus one year of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, is acceptable. Relocation within the USA may be required.

Edison, NJ (relocation to assignments anywhere in USA may be required).

Permanent position, full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 40 hours per week.
