Image Technician Level 2

General

Gemini is seeking qualified candidates for a potential contract on a contingency basis to support a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) program. This program provides a wide range of services such as logistics support, help desk and field support, threat imaging, training development and inventory management.

• Must be proficient in MS PowerPoint.
• Must have working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
• Must fully understand digital file structures and image manipulation.
• Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow explicit instructions.
• Associate’s degree and 2 years of practical experience with imaging technology usage and maintenance.
• HS/GED degree and 4 years of experience may be substituted.

Experience with x‑ray images associated with currently fielded Transportation Security Equipment (TSE) such as Rapiscan 3D20, Rapiscan 500 series, Smiths‑Heimann 6040 series, L3 6000, and GE CTX 2500/5500 – 9000 series.

Serve as a technician for imaging technology operations, manipulating image files using applications such as PowerPoint and Photoshop; load/unload x‑ray scan items (up to 50 lbs per item); operate, maintain, store, manipulate, convert, and process imaging technology for mass dissemination (e.g., converting machine versions to popular formats such as .jpeg or .bmp); test and catalog corresponding system images.

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Federal Government clearance. Active SECRET clearance and Public Trust clearance are preferable.
