Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect with a strong consulting and customer facing background to lead large scale cloud transformation initiatives. The architect will work closely with enterprise customers, AWS stakeholders, and delivery teams to design, govern, and implement secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud architecture, migration, modernization, Dev Ops, security, and operational excellence while driving business outcomes through strategic cloud adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Strategy Advisory:
  Lead cloud transformation and modernization programs for enterprise customers. Assess existing application and infrastructure landscapes and define cloud adoption strategies. Conduct architecture workshops, discovery sessions, and executive-level discussions. Develop target-state cloud architectures aligned with business and technology objectives. Drive AWS Well-Architected Framework reviews and remediation plans.
• Solution Architecture:
  Design end-to-end AWS solutions covering Compute (EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS), Networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect), Storage (S3, EFS, Fsx), Database Services (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift), Integration services (API Gateway, Event Bridge, SQS, SNS). Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and disaster recovery-enabled solutions. Define multiaccount AWS Landing Zone architectures.
• Cloud Migration Modernization:
  Lead application, database, and infrastructure migration initiatives. Develop migration strategies using AWS Migration Hub, Application Migration Service (MGN), and Database Migration Service (DMS). Drive modernization initiatives including Microservices architecture, Containerization, Serverless transformation, Event driven architectures.
• Security Governance:
  Implement AWS security best practices. Design IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, Guard Duty, Security Hub, and WAF solutions. Ensure compliance with enterprise security, regulatory, and governance requirements. Define guardrails and governance frameworks using AWS Control Tower and Organizations.
• Dev Ops Automation:
  Architect CICD pipelines using AWS native and enterprise Dev Ops tools. Enable Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, CDK. Drive automation for provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and operations.
• Stakeholder Management:
  Engage with customer CXOs, Enterprise Architects, Program Managers, and Engineering teams. Present architecture solutions, migration approaches, and business value propositions. Lead architecture reviews and obtain signoffs from customer stakeholders.
• Delivery Leadership:
  Provide technical leadership to implementation teams. Mentor cloud engineers and architects. Review solution designs and ensure adherence to architectural standards. Support presales pursuits, solution proposals, and effort estimations.

Ideal Profile for AWS Pro Serve:
Former AWS Professional Services consultant, architect, or equivalent. Experience leading enterprise cloud transformations valued at multimillion dollar engagements. Deep understanding of AWS Well Architected Framework, Migration Acceleration Program (MAP), Landing Zone Accelerator, and enterprise governance models. Proven experience working directly with C-level stakeholders and large global enterprises.
