About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer to join our Cybersecurity team. This individual will serve as a technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise security solutions across endpoint, network, cloud, identity, email, and threat detection domains.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong engineering mindset, hands-on experience with enterprise security technologies, and a passion for improving security capabilities through automation, process improvement, and strategic technology adoption.
Key Responsibilities Security Engineering & Platform Management- Design, deploy, administer, and optimize enterprise cybersecurity technologies
- Maintain security controls across endpoint, cloud, network, email, and identity environments
- Lead platform upgrades, integrations, and lifecycle management activities
- Develop operational standards, procedures, and technical documentation
- Lead a team of security engineers
- Partner with cloud and infrastructure teams to secure Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and hybrid environments
- Implement and maintain cloud security controls, monitoring capabilities, and security best practices
- Conduct cloud security assessments and remediation activities
- Support security monitoring, threat detection, investigation, and incident response efforts
- Develop detection use cases, response playbooks, and operational runbooks
- Collaborate with internal and external security operations resources to improve visibility and response effectiveness
- Manage vulnerability assessment, prioritization, remediation coordination, and reporting processes
- Partner with technology teams to reduce risk and improve security posture
- Develop metrics and reporting to track remediation progress and compliance objectives
- Participate in the review of new applications, infrastructure initiatives, and cloud projects
- Evaluate security risks and recommend appropriate safeguards and compensating controls
- Support Zero Trust, identity, and secure access initiatives
- Serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise security technologies and processes
- Lead a junior engineers and analysts
- Work closely with infrastructure, networking, cloud, development, and business teams to deliver security solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of Cybersecurity Engineering
- 7+ years of experience leading cybersecurity engineering or security operations
- Experience administering and supporting enterprise security technologies
- Experience securing cloud environments, including Azure and/or GC
- Strong understanding of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR/XD
- Vulnerability Management
- Email Security
- Security Monitoring and Incident Response
- Zero Trust and Secure Access Technologies
- Network Security Fundamentals
- Identity and Access Management
- Experience with scripting or automation technologies such as Power Shell, Python, or similar tools
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with in large enterprise or retail environments.
- Industry certifications such as: CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, Azure Security Engineer, Google Cloud Security Certifications, Security+
- Experience supporting security initiatives in highly regulated environments.
