Commercial Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Litigation Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex commercial disputes, including breach of contract, business litigation, and real estate litigation. You will work closely with senior attorneys to manage cases from inception through trial and appeal, providing clients with formidable legal counsel and representation.

• Manage and advance commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, business disputes, and real estate litigation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex commercial and procedural issues.
• Participate in client meetings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide strong advocacy.
• Assist in trial preparation and may have opportunities to argue motions and cases before the court.
• Maintain clear and responsive communication with clients throughout the litigation lifecycle.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar or the ability to obtain admission promptly.
• 2-6 years of experience in commercial litigation, focusing on breach of contract, business litigation, and real estate disputes preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered approach.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple matters, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The base salary for this position is between $100,000 – $150,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
