Job Purpose:
As a Procurement Specialist at Hillebrand Gori, you will develop and administer procurement plans and processes for work associated with obtaining goods and services for all types of business processes including indirect and direct operations. Activities include service sourcing, supplier selection, pricing and terms negotiation, order processing, contract administration, and supplier performance management, identifying and recommending best‑in‑class suppliers and maintaining good relationships with those within the scope.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and administer procurement business processes and plans to achieve greatest value contribution, benefit realization and efficiency from all procurement activities and ensuring customer satisfaction by meeting their demands in terms of quality, price and service.
- Understand and analyze sourcing of warehousing and transportation capacities in order to reduce costs and ensure quality and supply as needed by the business/function in scope.
- Execute activities related to professional sourcing for key business initiatives, supply market research and intelligence to support business decisions in investments.
- Research and evaluate sourcing opportunities and support management of strategic suppliers.
- Prioritize and coordinate various procurement processes including product and service sourcing, supplier selection, pricing and terms negotiation, order processing, contract administration, supplier performance management, and strategic sourcing.
- Strongly preferred: 3‑5 years of experience in shipping, logistics or supply chain management industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/qualification.
- Preferred: prior experience in customer service and/or operations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Preferred: experience using transportation management systems.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Pay range
: $50,000‑65,000 total compensation, based on experience.
