We are seeking a Demand Planning Manager to lead UVeye's forecasting and demand planning strategy.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Supply Chain, this role will drive accurate demand forecasts, optimize inventory and supply chain performance, and partner cross-functionally to align planning with business objectives.

As our Demand Planning Manager
, you will be the strategic pulse of UVeye’s global supply chain. In this high-visibility role, you’ll lead cross-functional alignment and leverage advanced analytics to build robust forecasts that power our rapid scale.

A Day in the Life & How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Drive Strategic Forecasting: Act as the subject matter expert in consumption and statistical forecasting for our capital-intensive, subscription-based hardware/software business model.
  • Lead the Monthly S&OP Cadence: Facilitate the end-to-end Consensus Demand Planning process, reconciling top-down and bottom-up forecasts to establish reliable financial and volume baselines.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Partner across Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Operations to translate market intelligence into actionable demand strategies.
  • Optimize Key Metrics: Own forecasting accuracy (MAPE, bias targets) while directly impacting logistics costs, net working capital, customer service levels, and SLOB inventory reduction.
  • Bridge Demand & Supply: Provide context-rich demand changes to supply and deployment teams, assessing impacts on manufacturing, distribution, and logistics assets.
  • Pioneer Process Improvements: Lead new product introduction (NPI) forecasting, execute change management initiatives, and implement advanced frameworks like ABC-XYZ analysis.
What You Bring
  • Experience: 8+ years in demand planning within a capital-intensive, hardware/software, or high-tech/automotive ecosystem (including 3+ years in a leadership or cross-functional driving role).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, MIS, or related field.
  • Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in S&OP/S&OE frameworks, ERP demand planning modules, and advanced data analytics/BI tools (data mining and visualization).
  • Forecasting Track Record: Proven success managing 12+ month planning horizons driven by strict KPI management.
  • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional ability to lead by influence in a global matrix organization, aligning diverse teams toward unified solutions.
  • Travel: Ability to travel ~10% to DCs, customer installations, and manufacturing facilities.
Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Certifications: APICS (CPIM/CSCP), IBF CPF, or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Advanced Analytics: High proficiency in complex data modeling, advanced Excel, and BI integration.
  • Modern Planning Frameworks: Familiarity with CPFR, EDI/supplier portals, digital supply chain transformation, and tier-2+ planning.
  • Consulting Background: 3+ years in consulting focused on identifying and implementing end-to-end supply chain solutions.
Physical Requirements

This role may involve on-site or field-based activities. Depending on the position, tasks may include extended periods of sitting, standing, or walking; working in and around vehicle service areas, rental facilities, dealerships, manufacturing sites, or warehouse environments; and performing occasional manual tasks such as lifting or carrying up to 40 lbs, bending, or reaching.
