Interport Global Logistics (IGL) is seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to lead and grow our branch operations. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of freight forwarding, customs brokerage, customer service, sales, and financial performance while driving operational excellence and business growth. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in international logistics and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Business Development
  • Develop and execute branch growth strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Drive new business development while strengthening relationships with existing customers.
  • Establish measurable KPIs and ensure branch performance consistently exceeds operational and financial targets.
  • Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships with carriers, agents, and customers.
Operations Management
  • Oversee daily air, ocean, and ground freight operations, ensuring efficient and timely service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and industry standards, including Incoterms, IATA, FMC, TSA, and CTPAT.
  • Implement operational best practices to improve productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor shipment performance and resolve operational challenges proactively.
  • Manage branch budgets, financial forecasts, and overall P&L performance.
  • Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability while identifying opportunities to improve margins.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and cost control across all departments.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across operations, sales, customer service, and administration.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, train, and retain top talent to support organizational growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, overseas agents, and strategic partners.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and timely resolution of escalated issues.
  • Negotiate carrier rates, vendor agreements, and service contracts to maximize value and operational efficiency.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and all applicable transportation, customs, and trade regulations.
  • Develop and maintain risk management and business continuity plans.
  • Maintain a safe, compliant, and ethical work environment.
Technology & Process Improvement
  • Optimize the use of Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms, and logistics technology.
  • Leverage operational data and analytics to improve efficiency and support strategic decision-making.
  • Drive digital transformation and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in freight forwarding, international logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, customs brokerage, domestic transportation, and warehousing.
  • Thorough understanding of international trade regulations, Incoterms, customs compliance, FMC, TSA, and IATA requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience managing branch operations and full P&L responsibility.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with logistics software, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and ERP/TMS platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensed Customs Broker (preferred).
  • FIATA, IATA, or related logistics certifications are a plus.
  • Experience working with international freight forwarding networks.
