Partnering closely with Clinical Operations, Marketing, Staffing, Credentialing, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Finance, and Business Intelligence, the Intake Director will drive operational excellence, improve access to care, and support the company's continued growth.
This role is ideal for a healthcare operations leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, using data to improve performance, and creating scalable processes.
What You'll Do Intake Leadership- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Intake Representatives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and exceptional patient service.
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and professional development.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex intake matters.
- Oversee all inbound patient inquiries and referral channels from initial contact through admission.
- Improve pipeline performance by increasing responsiveness, conversion rates, and scheduling efficiency.
- Standardize and continuously improve intake workflows, documentation, and service standards.
- Monitor departmental KPIs and leverage reporting and analytics to drive operational improvements.
- Partner with Clinical Operations, Staffing, Credentialing, Marketing, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Finance, and Business Intelligence to streamline patient onboarding, improve communication, and support organizational growth.
- Develop future leaders through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, patient access, intake, admissions, or customer service.
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, ABA, or a related field.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with CRM, EMR, or patient management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze performance metrics and improve operational outcomes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Passion for delivering an exceptional patient and family experience.
