The Director of Franchise Operations is responsible for directing operations in franchise stores to grow, develop and maximize results in respective markets while maintaining consistent customer experience and operational compliance. This includes ensuring franchisees are following the GNC operating system, coaching franchisees to maximize their return on investment, assisting franchisees with operational guidance, and mentoring all aspects of training. This position is responsible for the Retail and wholesale revenues for their territory as set by GNC Holdings, LLC.
Covering approximately 40 franchise stores located in New York, New Jersey, New England, Maryland, and Virginia.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:- Stay informed of any exposure issues that arise with franchisees, bringing (as appropriate) issues to the attention of the Franchise Leadership Team
- Demonstrated proficiency in profit and loss statements to provide guidance and counsel to maximize Franchise Operator's investment
- Ensure instruction of sales techniques and key sales building programs (Merchandising, Promotions and Resets)
- Assist Franchise Operators in understanding and maintaining proper inventory levels sufficient to satisfy customer demand and business growth including the omni channel business environment.
- Facilitate and assist quality communications between all Franchise support departments and individuals within GNC and the Franchise Operator
- Provide individualized market pricing advice that reflects corporate pricing philosophy while maintaining a competitive advantage within the market
- Encourage Franchise Operator utilization and promotion of the GNC brand through GNC's proven operating systems
- Ensure a quality start-up and opening assistance for new stores through training of new Franchise Operators Facilitate transfer of possession, remodels, relocations and conversations
- Ensure Franchise Operator compliance with Franchise documents, program requirements and GNC standards by utilizing dispute resolution methods that include listening, understanding, and responding to Franchise Operators with the primary emphasis on resolving differences

- This role has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
- Frequent travel throughout assigned market;
Ability to travel up to 75% - Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands or fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.

QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required, advanced degree (MBA/MS) preferred but not required.

- 8+ years progressive multi-unit retail business operations or franchise operations experience required
- 5+ years in a leadership role (direct or indirect)
- Prior managerial/supervisory experience
- High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications with strong written and verbal communication skills.
