What You'll Do
Operate and maintain can lines, perform and documents quality checks and measurements, requiring supervisory assistance only in unusual quality or operating problems. Take full responsibility for the quality of the product and line efficiency
Properly diagnose mechanical and quality problems, determine the necessary repairs, and restore malfunctioning equipment back to service with minimum delay
Handle pallets, tooling, barrels, boxes and cartons as required
Record product and equipment inspection to ensure quality production
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion
Adhere to all safety regulations and report any hazards that may compromise a safe workplace
Work closely with supervisors and fellow employees on improvement teams to uncover and implement safety, quality, productivity, and cost control advancements
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
What You'll Need
High school diploma or equivalent
Journeyman Mechanic
2+ years as an Industrial Mechanic in a manufacturing environment
