SENIOR Production Coordinator - Soft Accessories and Hard Goods; Children's and Young Adult

Our client, a children’s soft accessories and hard goods brand located in Edison, NJ, is seeking a Senior Production Coordinator to join the team. Having experience with home, stationary, cold weather is a plus.

• Communication with factories managing production, costing, and F/O research and development related to each product category and closely with overseas factories.
• Must have excellent follow‑through skills and be proficient in Excel.
• Manage the production process with overseas factories, ensuring product samples meet specifications.
• Negotiate and calculate costing/engineering to meet markup goals.
• Collaborate with factories and design on alternative solutions to meet cost targets.
• Implement and monitor WIP reports, seasonal time/action calendars to achieve required delivery.
• Track the progress of each style and provide updates utilizing WIP reports.
• Daily communication with overseas factories confirming all production details and any product modifications to ensure specifications align.
• Allocate and follow up on product development packages sent to overseas factories for sampling and approval.
• Responsible for packaging guidelines, style set‑up, and order management.
• Review pre‑production and top‑of‑production samples to confirm they match all approved submittals.
• Communicate with factories on a daily basis, monitoring seasonal time and action calendar to ensure deliveries.
• Communicate with Sales, Quality Assurance, and Design to ensure quality standards for on‑time delivery.

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years in production in a wholesale apparel environment with Children’s Accessories.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel, and PLM.
• Must have costing experience.
• Fast‑paced, high energy, and multi‑tasking capabilities.
