Mixing Operator III

Essential Functions

• Perform and verify complex equipment cleaning and operate industrial-scale mixing equipment.
• Monitor production activities to ensure batches are completed on schedule and equipment runs safely and efficiently.
• Review Production Batch Records (PBRs) for accuracy, sign off, and submit to the Supervisor.
• Ensure departmental equipment is properly grounded prior to initiating any batch.
• Follow the daily production schedule and assign tasks to support workflow and production targets.
• Assess performance/skill levels of Mixing Operators I and II and provide development/improvement recommendations.

• Education:
  
  High School or GED (preferred).
• Experience:
  
  5+ years (HS/GED) in pharmaceuticals manufacturing; OR 6+ years (less than HS/GED) in proven related pharmaceuticals manufacturing.

• Read, write, and communicate in English.
• High school level math and mechanical skills.
• Flexibility to work extended hours when required.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Knowledge of High Shear Mixer, Fluid Bed Processor, GPCG-60 and 120.

• Hourly rate: $22.00–$32.00/hour; short-term incentive opportunity (bonus/performance-based award) within first 12 months.
