Salary Range: $20.00 To $24.00 Hourly

The Assembly Mechanic I is a professional responsible for assembling complex mechanical systems and supporting critical build processes across multiple product lines.

• Assemble mechanical and pneumatic components into sub‑assemblies across multiple models in each of their respective product lines
• Ensure proper fit of all parts by drilling, grinding, or shimming to adjust to a proper fit
• Interpret and provide feedback on engineering drawings, identifying discrepancies and recommending design improvements
• Diagnose and resolve advanced mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues during assembly and testing
• Move large parts and machines around manufacturing floor using forklift or overhead crane
• Proven ability to lead tasks or projects and mentor less experienced team members

• 1 year+ of experience in assembly and manufacturing environment
• Ability to operate equipment, troubleshoot, and problem solve
• Organized with a strong attention to detail with a dedication to quality and safety
• Ability to frequently stand, bend, and reach
• Ability to lift, pull up, or push up to 50 pounds

• Technical school training, apprenticeship, or relevant industry certification in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and hands‑on experience)
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in wastewater, industrial equipment, or heavy machinery manufacturing
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience (Kaizen, 5S, etc.)
