DescriptionTorcon is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support our marketing and business development efforts. Working with the marketing team, this role is responsible for developing compelling, professional, and visually engaging proposals, presentations, qualifications packages, and marketing materials that strengthen our brand and enhance our competitive position. The ideal candidate combines exceptional graphic design skills with strong communication and organizational abilities and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities Proposal & Business Development Support- Design and format professional proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, and other business development materials.
- Produce polished PowerPoint presentations for client meetings, interviews, project pursuits, and marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing, business development, and project teams to gather information and prepare high-quality submission materials.
- Create clean, visually appealing layouts that enhance readability and maintain brand consistency.
- Develop graphics, diagrams, charts, infographics, and other visual assets that clearly communicate technical and complex information.
- Apply strong design principles including typography, color, composition, and visual hierarchy to all materials.
- Ensure all deliverables align with company branding standards and quality expectations.
- Design and produce internal communications materials including company announcements, newsletters, employee updates, event promotions, and leadership communications.
- Support employee engagement initiatives through creative visual storytelling and branded communication materials.
- Assist with the planning, branding, and promotion of corporate events, recruiting initiatives, community engagement programs, and employee recognition efforts.
- Design apparel and promotional pieces that align with brand standards.
- Maintain and update marketing collateral, project sheets, presentation templates, and other corporate marketing assets.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of company marketing materials for both electronic and digital platforms.
- Coordinate website updates with external website design consultant.
- Organize and manage graphic assets, templates, and design files for efficient team access and future use.
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines and competing priorities.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of graphic design experience, preferably within the construction, architecture, engineering, professional services, or related industries.
- Experience supporting proposal development and business development initiatives is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including:
- Adobe In Design
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly:
- Microsoft Power Point
- Microsoft Word
- Experience creating graphics, infographics, and data visualizations for technical audiences.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools such as Constant Contact and Google Analytics is desirable.
- Excellent layout, typography, and document production skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize work effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and project teams.
