The U.S. Center for Mental Health and Sport (USC‑MHS) (501(c)(3)) is dedicated to advancing the mental health and well‑being of athletes, coaches, and sports communities across the country. By integrating mental health education into sports environments, we work to reduce stigma, increase access to resources, and equip leaders with the tools to support those they serve. Through training programs, targeted mission‑driven partnerships, and community engagement, USC‑MHS builds a national network that promotes healthier, more supportive athletic communities at all levels of sport.
As a Partnerships and Development Associate VISTA, you will establish partners to increase our customer base, create a structured volunteer engagement plan, and assist in scaling opportunities. You will play a key role in expanding our reach and our ability to partner with nonprofits to improve access to mental health education and resources in low‑income communities across the country. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in nonprofit development while making a tangible impact on mental health in sport environments.
