Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) responsible for providing direct resident care and supervising non‑licensed team members in skilled nursing operations at Brighton Gardens of Edison.

Overnight position: 11 PM–7 AM.

Week 1:
Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday.

Week 2:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

• Ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance while promoting the highest level of care and service.
• Oversee the coordination of residents’ health and wellness needs.
• Work closely with family members and community physicians to ensure residents’ needs are met in a personalized manner.
• Perform direct resident care and supervise non‑licensed staff.

• Graduate of an approved college or school of nursing.
• Current state license as a Practical Nurse/Vocational Nurse.
• Minimum one year of experience in long‑term care, assisted living, skilled nursing, hospital, or full‑service operations.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applicable to skilled nursing and resident care.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local long‑term care regulations and the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and Care Plan Process.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, demonstrate good judgment, problem solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
• Proficient with computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel).
