Nurse Manager - Critical Care

The Nurse Manager is responsible for leading high-quality nursing care while ensuring compliance with regulations. This role is ideal for individuals with strong leadership skills and a commitment to patient care.

• Location: Edison, NJ
• Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care and goals.
• Manage day-to-day operations and ensure team knowledge of emergency/disaster response policies.
• Monitor nursing standards of practice and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Develop, plan, evaluate, and monitor budgetary and financial priorities for patient care.
• Promote cost-effective use of organizational resources and manage staffing plans.
• Demonstrate leadership by establishing supportive partnerships and mentoring team members.
• Supervise and evaluate educational programs and evidence-based practices.
• Support the Magnet Program by ensuring shared governance and data collection.
• Prioritize organizational goals and lead performance improvement initiatives.
• Professionally review complaints and follow up with appropriate departments.

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Experience: 3+ years' experience as a Registered Nurse required; 3+ years' progressive leadership experience preferred
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  
  NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required; AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification required;
  National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible
