About This Role

The Nurse Manager is responsible for leading high-quality nursing care in compliance with regulations, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring effective collaboration among staff. This role is ideal for experienced nurses with strong leadership skills and a commitment to patient care.

• Location: Edison, NJ
• Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care and goals.
• Manage day-to-day operations and ensure team knowledge of emergency response policies.
• Monitor nursing standards of practice for compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Develop and evaluate budgetary and financial priorities related to patient care.
• Promote cost-effective use of organizational resources and manage staffing plans.
• Demonstrate leadership by fostering supportive partnerships and effective communication.
• Supervise and monitor educational programs and evidence-based practices.
• Support the Magnet Program by coordinating data collection and documentation.
• Prioritize organizational goals and lead performance improvement initiatives.
• Review complaints and opportunities for improvement with timely follow-up.

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Experience: 3+ years' experience as a Registered Nurse required
• 3+ years' progressive leadership experience preferred

  Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification required
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible
