Wound Care Licensed Practical Nurse

Overview

The Wound Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care and clinical support to the wound care team in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, patient homes, and other clinical settings throughout New Jersey. Under the supervision of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician, the LPN assists with wound treatments, performs physician-ordered therapies including UltraMIST® Therapy, monitors wound healing, and ensures accurate documentation and coordination of care.

Salary range: $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year.

• Provide direct patient care and clinical support to wound care teams across various settings in New Jersey.
• Assist with wound treatments and physician-ordered therapies, including UltraMIST® Therapy.
• Monitor wound healing progress and document care accurately; coordinate care with the healthcare team.
• Ensure complete and compliant documentation and communication with providers, patients, and families.

• Graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
• Licensed in New Jersey as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing (NJSA 45:11-23 et seq and NJAC 13:37).
• One or more years of nursing experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
