Position SummaryMinute Clinic, the nation’s largest retail health care provider, offers nurses with the opportunity to provide affordable, accessible, high‑quality care to patients, families, and communities. The Nurse Practitioner will practice at the top of their clinical license with support from a collaborative team and resources that enable holistic patient care.
You Will- Provide primary and family evidence‑based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning.
- Handle administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow‑up, verifying insurance, collecting payment, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Manage patient appointments and perform routine examinations to ensure positive health outcomes.
- Speak with patients about healthy lifestyle choices and complete diagnostic tests to diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses.
- Coordinate with other health‑care professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care and encourage patients to participate actively in their own healthcare and well‑being.
- Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
- Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
- Complete the Department of Transportation certification exam within 30 days of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED operation.
- Must pass a fit test and wear the respirator mask when protocol requires.
- Must order and administer immunizations and injections (e.g., COVID‑19, influenza, TB, Depo) and provide evidence‑based vaccine counseling.
- Must provide holistic, evidence‑based care for conditions such as pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infections, safer sex practices, and general health processes.
- Must be proficient in speaking and writing in additional languages not limited to Spanish (mandatory depending on the market).
- Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current National Board Certification and State license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
- EPIC experience.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a licensed Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in family medicine or primary care practice.
The typical pay range for this role is $50.22 – $108.15. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors. The position is eligible for bonus, commission or short‑term incentive programs in addition to the mandatory benefits.
