We are a small, non-corporate veterinary practice looking for a compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Veterinary Technician to join our growing team.

We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, personalized care to our patients while building lasting relationships with our clients. Because we are a small practice, every team member plays an important role, and your contributions are genuinely valued.

As a Veterinary Technician, you will work closely with our veterinarian and support the team in providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with examinations and appointments
• Collecting and processing laboratory samples
• Drawing blood and placing/monitoring IV catheters
• Administering medications and vaccinations as directed
• Taking and developing/processing radiographs
• Monitoring patients during procedures and recovery
• Assisting with surgical and dental procedures, as applicable
• Providing nursing care and monitoring hospitalized patients
• Maintaining clean, organized treatment and patient-care areas
• Educating clients about medications, nutrition, preventative care, and at-home treatment
• Communicating compassionately and professionally with clients and coworkers
• Helping with the day-to-day needs of a busy veterinary practice

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working in a veterinary hospital or clinical setting
• Is comfortable handling dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments
• Is compassionate, patient, and genuinely cares about animal welfare
• Works well independently as well as part of a small team
• Has strong communication and organizational skills
• Is dependable, punctual, and willing to jump in wherever needed
• Is comfortable in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Treats clients and coworkers with kindness and respect
• CVT/LVT/RVT credentials are a plus, but we are happy to consider experienced veterinary assistants or technicians who are eager to continue learning and growing.
