Jersey Shore Animal Center in Brick, NJ seeks a veterinary technician/assistant with shelter and spay/neuter experience to provide high quality and compassionate care.
Under the supervision of the Shelter Veterinarian, you will perform intake exams, assist with surgeries, prepare anesthesia, manage medications and vaccines, and keep meticulous medical records to support the well-being of shelter animals. This part-time role hosts 8-32 hours weekly, with possible overtime as needed.
