Pharmaceutical Operations Intern

• Work collaboratively in a team environment to solve challenges in formulation development, manufacturing, and clinical supply chain
• Contribute to pharmaceutical operations projects involving oral solid dosage products, injectable clinical supplies, filling operations, process engineering, design engineering, process equipment, and critical utility systems
• Participate in departmental and project team meetings
• Present research results in oral and written formats
• Work closely with an experienced pharmaceutical industry scientist on a departmental research project

• Currently enrolled undergraduate sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree, or currently enrolled graduate student pursuing a Master's or PhD in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Engineering
• Available to work full-time for up to 12 weeks from May–August 2027
• Completed at least 2 years of studies toward a bachelor's degree by June 2027
• Strong academic performance
• Strong communication skills and teamwork
• Ability to work in a multifunctional environment
• Basic laboratory skills and research experience, such as electronic notebook recording, HPLC, spectroscopy, analytical techniques, and safe lab practices
• Basic experience with analytic tools, programming, and software such as MATLAB, Python, and Aspen
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• US and Puerto Rico residents only
• No visa sponsorship

Demonstrates strong foundational knowledge in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Sciences, with practical experience in laboratory techniques and analytical tools. Capable of effective communication and collaboration within a multifunctional team environment.
