Job Description Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Deep expertise in SAP S/4
HANA Quality Management (QM) with strong leadership in designing and implementing enterprise quality processes - Proven experience in Aerospace & Defense (A&D) Aftermarket, including:
- Component repair quality
- Service quality processes
- Inspection and compliance for spare parts and maintenance activities
- Strong knowledge of SAP QM capabilities, including:
- Inspection planning and results recording
- Quality notifications and non-conformance management
- Audit management and compliance tracking
- Incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes
- Experience integrating QM with key S/4
HANA modules: - MM (Procurement quality)
- PP / Manufacturing
- EWM (warehouse quality checks)
- PM / Service (maintenance quality inspection)
- Expertise in Aftermarket quality processes, including:
- Repair and overhaul quality control
- Service inspection checkpoints
- Warranty and failure analysis
- Supplier quality management
- Strong understanding of A&D regulatory requirements and standards, including:
- ITAR compliance
- Traceability and documentation
- Audit readiness and quality certifications
- Experience integrating QM processes with:
- MRO/CRO operations
- Spare parts fulfillment
- Serialized inventory and component tracking
- Proven experience in quality transformation programs within SAP S/4
HANA landscapes - Ability to define and drive quality performance metrics, including:
- First pass yield
- Defect rates
- Cost of poor quality (COPQ)
- Audit compliance scores
- Supplier quality performance
- Strong experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across quality, manufacturing, aftermarket operations, and IT
- Define and lead the enterprise quality transformation strategy leveraging SAP S/4
HANA QM for A&D Aftermarket operations - Establish the target quality operating model covering repair, service, supplier quality, and compliance management
- Drive quality excellence initiatives focused on improving product reliability, service quality, and compliance adherence
- Architect end-to-end SAP QM solutions integrated with aftermarket and MRO processes
- Design quality processes across:
- Incoming supplier inspection
- In-process inspection for repairs and maintenance
- Final inspection for serviceable components
- Non-conformance and corrective action management
- Define integration between QM and:
- Maintenance (PM)
- Warehousing (EWM)
- Procurement (MM)
- Engineering and technical systems
- Ensure traceability and audit readiness across all quality processes
- Lead global QM work streams in large-scale SAP S/4
HANA transformation programs - Drive:
- Design workshops and blueprinting
- Fit-gap analysis
- Testing oversight (SIT/UAT)
- Cutover and deployment readiness
- Ensure high-quality, predictable delivery (>95% milestone adherence)
- Manage risks, dependencies, and quality governance across the program
- Act as trusted advisor to Quality, Engineering, and Operations leadership
- Facilitate workshops and governance forums for:
- Quality process transformation
- Regulatory compliance
- Continuous improvement initiatives
- Translate business objectives into scalable SAP QM-enabled solutions
- Drive measurable improvements in:
- Product and service quality
- Reduction in defects and rework
- Faster root-cause analysis and issue resolution
- Improved supplier quality performance
- Regulatory compliance and audit success rates
- Define and manage KPI dashboards for:
- Quality performance
- Process efficiency
- Compliance metrics
- Enable digital quality processes through:
- Real-time inspection and analytics
- Integration with IoT / predictive quality solutions (where applicable)
- Drive automation in quality workflows and reporting
- Champion continuous improvement and lean quality practices across the enterprise
- Strong executive leadership with proven ability to lead enterprise-wide quality transformation programs
- Excellent stakeholder management across quality, engineering, operations, and IT organizations
- Strong decision-making, governance, and conflict resolution capabilities
- Ability to lead large global teams and align diverse stakeholders
- Experience mentoring functional and consulting teams
- Strong commercial acumen and delivery accountability
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills
Base Salary Range : $180,000 to $250,000 Per Annum
